This is a neat little nutritional “saying” that some of you may have heard before, but bears repeating.

“Have 5 a day the color way”

Meaning, have 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day…all of them different colors.

The typical split would be 3:2 (veggie/fruit), or if you’re really trying to drop bodyfat then 4:1 (veggie/fruit) works really well.
