21 Superfoods that will help you get started on the right path.

Don’t you hate it when you really want to accomplish something and you have no idea how to get started?  Ughh.  It’s the worst.  We lose interest incredibly quickly when we can’t figure out how to do something.  Sometimes we’ll ask a friend for help and sometimes we’ll punch it in the ol’ Googler for some direction.  Most often we end up even more confused and frustrated than we were to start off!

Practically every person we know has vowed to lose weight, get in shape, eat healthier, etc.  We’ll see an old high school picture of ourselves or find an old pair of “skinny clothes” that we can’t fit one limb into anymore and feel motivated to get started on a path to health and smaller clothes! Wooooooo!  We march in to the kitchen, look around….and have no idea what to eat.  Meat? Fruit? Whole wheat? Ugh.  This is lame.  If only there was a “Quick Start Guide” for healthy eating.

Well, here you go my friend.  Here is a list of 21 superfoods that will help you get started on the right path.  Start off by building your meals from this list.  Before you do that, read the disclaimer – ok, it’s not a real disclaimer, just something to remember before you get started building super-meals:  Using this list to build meals is a great beginning strategy but does not provide prescriptive nutrition that is specific to YOUR needs and lifestyle.
